The hirer acts on behalf of all the passengers travelling on a Premier Transport vehicle. If the hirer is a company, group or partnership, an individual must be named as a responsible person. The hirer is responsible for the actions and decisions of all the passengers on board the vehicle including any additional costs which may be incurred in performing the contract regardless whether or not they actually travel with the party. The company will only accept instructions form the hirer or their nominated representative and these conditions apply whether a contract has been made verbally or in writing.
All quotations are given subject to the company having available a suitable vehicle at the time the hirer accepts the quotation. Quotations are valid for a period of 28 days unless otherwise notified.
A deposit of 20% of the hire fee is payable within seven days of booking the coach and the remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to departure. Late return vehicles from venues must pay a bond of L100 which is returnable providing the coach comes back clean and has no damage. This payment must be paid at the balance due date. Coaches booked within 14 days of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking unless the Company has agreed to vary this condition.
3. CANCELLATION BY HIRER
If the hirer wishes to cancel or amend any agreement the following scale of charges will apply in relationship to the total hire charge.

4. CANCELLATION DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS
Will be charged as above.
5. CANCELLATION BY COMPANY
In the event of an emergency, riot, civil actions, strike or an action by the hitherto vary the agreed conditions, the Company may return all monies paid and without further liability cancel the contract.
6. DRIVERS HOURS
The drivers hours of driving and rest periods are regulated by law and must be complied with. The company will agree the hours of operation for the hire and these MUST be observed.
7. SEATING CAPACITY
The Company at the time of booking will agree the seating capacity of the vehicle. Drivers will not carry any additional passengers over the seating capacity of the vehicle. No standing passengers are allowed.
8. VARIATION OF HIRE
If the vehicle is detained late by the hirer or used for a longer journey than was originally contracted for the Company will make an additional charge.
The route used will be at the discretion of the Company and /or the Driver unless the Hirer has advised us and specified a particular route. The Company reserves the right to levy an additional charge for any additional mileage that has not been agreed.
10. RETENTION OF VEHICLE
Unless otherwise stated it should not be assumed that any vehicle will remain at the destination until the time for the return journey.
11. ALCOHOL / SMOKING
All Premier Transport coaches operate a NO SMOKING/NO ALCOHOL POLICY (THIS INCLUDES E CIGARETTES).
12. CONDUCT OF PASSENGERS
The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle at all times. Any passenger whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations will be removed on the Drivers’ authority. The hirer will be responsible for all damages caused to the vehicle by passengers for the duration of the hire.
13. CONVEYANCE OF ANIMALS
No animals other than guide dogs and hearing dogs notified to the Company may be carried on any vehicle without prior written agreement from the Company.
14. CHANGE OF VEHICLE
The Company reserves the right to change the vehicle and may provide a larger vehicle than the size hired at no additional charge. The Company reserves the right to hire in another Coach Operator to cover the hire.
The company can give advice on journey times in good faith but will not guarantee the completion of a journey at a specific time and will NOT be held liable for any inconvenience or loss which may be caused by breakdown or delay.
16. PASSENGER PROPERTY
The Company will not accept liability for any damage or loss of property , which belongs to any passenger and is left of a vehicle. Any articles of property which are found on the vehicle and recovered by the Company will be held at the depot from where the vehicle is based and may be collected from there unless other arrangements are made.
In the event of a complaint about the Company’s service the hirer should endeavour to seek a solution at the time by seeking assistance from the driver of the Company. If this does not provide a solution then any complaint should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the termination of the hire with Premier Transport, Oak Grove, Wallsend, NE28 6PW. Complaints will be acknowledged within 14 working days and the Company will aim to resolve any complaint within 28 days of it being made.

The quotation must be for a product that we are able to supply and must be of the same transport requirements. Put simply, a “like for like” quotation.
Many competitors operate offers / discounts, and should a quotation based on a like for like product with discount be presented to us by a member of the public, then Premier Transport will provide you with a price that is lower.
